液氮粉碎是以液氮为冷却剂，促使橡胶经超低温冷却而变脆后，再进行粉碎，所得粉粒为50-200目(0.074-0.295mm)，但由于液氮价格昂贵，生产成本较高。其中，一种方法是废胎经分割切块后进行冷冻粉碎；另一种是直接将整胎冷冻粉碎。液氮利用形式也分为预冷处理粉碎和无预冷处理粉碎。
